Dear Chongfu Alumni Members

It has been a challenging year for the alumni with the world entering its second year of battling the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite its challenges, the year remained fruitful for the alumni. The alumni continued to hold activities during year while adhering to prevailing safe distancing measures. This year’s activities included a “Rediscover Singapore” tour held on 22 January, a special dinner held on 18 February to celebrate “Ren Ri” of the Lunar New Year, and a 2D1N Southern Island Tour held from 30 April to 1 May.

The alumni also held its AGM and elected its 20th Executive Committee on 30 March, with another election on 4 April to form the various sub-committees. I wish to thank the alumni for their support and trust in me in my reappointment as the President.

On this note, I would like to make a special mention that several long serving committee members will be passing the baton to the younger generation of the alumni. Despite taking a step back, I have no doubt that they will continue to
contribute to the alumni with their experience by guiding the newly appointed committee members.

Lastly, I would like to send my best wishes to everyone during these uncertain times. Stay safe, well and healthy.
